God Weapon Server Rules

1. Typing in caps is against the rules, and the bot (if present) will silence the offending user for 5 minutes.  (If it becomes a problem, and the admin realize it is, then it is left up to their discretion.)

2. Using racial slurs is looked down upon, and any user using them is kicked from the server and silenced for 45 minutes.  (Anyone who is willing to give a list of words considered to be racial slurs and/or knows any words that he/she feels should be added to the list of racial slurs will be greatly appreciated.)

3. Currently, any racial slurs, the names Gambit, Admin, supra, or any variation of the words results in a 1 hour ban by the bot.  The names gambit, admin, and supra are banned so as not to confuse people as to whom the real admin are. 

4. Spamming logins is against the rules, and doing so will result in a 5 minute ban from the server. 

5. Spamming text in the server is against the rules, and, if caught by the bot, will result in a 10 minute silence after being kicked from the server. 

6. Any attempt to hack the GW server will result in an automatic maximum time ban from the server. 

7. If an admin sees any chat that gets too personal, he/she may ask the conversation to be discontinued.  Disobeying an admin will result in a fitting punishment left to the discretion of the admin being disobeyed. 

8. The owner of the server has instructed that any trash talk about the server results in an automatic 30000 minute ban from the server. 

9. Evading an admin’s banning/silence by coming to the server with a different IP address will result in a possible lifetime ban from the server.  (It’s left to the discretion of the admin handling the situation.)

10. Disrespecting the admin, who are here to provide a calm and collected gaming environment to you, is looked down upon.  The punishment for it is left to the discretion of the admin being disrespected. 

11. Cloning another person in the server is highly unappreciated.  If caught, you will first be asked to change your name, then you will be removed from the server.  If you still do not change your name, more severe punishments will be used.  (This technique may not be used by every admin, but seems to be the most fair). 

12. If the owner of a “clan” sees that you are wearing that “clan’s” tags, and the owner does not want you to be wearing them, you will be asked to remove them.  If you do not, you may be kicked from the server.  If you again insist on keeping the tags on, you are now disobeying an admin and will be punished at the discretion of the admin handling the situation. 

13. Please try to keep in mind that little kids play on this server as well.  Posting adult links should be at a minimum. 

14. Also (keeping in mind that little kids may play in this server) try to keep the foul language at a normal level. 

15. THIS IS NOT A DATING SERVICE!

16. If you’re going to advertise a game you’re hosting, please try not to spam it too much.  Personally, I think 1-2 ads in one screen of chat is enough.  If the admin feel like you’re spamming just to be spamming, they will warn you. 

17. If an admin or anyone else feels that the name you use is offensive/inappropriate, you will be asked to change your name. 

18. Duplicating names already in the server is against the rules.  The server will prevent anyone from coming in with the exact same name.

19. The admin have the right to add/delete/alter any rule listed above.  It is left to each admin to determine a FITTING punishment for breaking the rules.
